Two stylish apartments in an old bakery building converted by UOWN. The building sits within Castlegate in Sheffield, which is currently undergoing a massive transformation spearheaded by Sheffield Council. Projects to introduce new public green space, pedestrianise large parts of the area and uncover parts of the River Sheaf and River Don are currently well underway and there are multiple developers refurbishing buildings to help create a new digital hub for the city and link up previously isolated parts of the city centre.
The apartments have been converted to a high standard including original building features, integrated kitchen appliances, smart home heating systems, and rain showers. They are expected to generated a gross annual rent of £16,800 and UOWN are guaranteeing a net rental yield of 5% until July 2022. As always UOWN will pay this return whilst the property is funding, even whilst it is not tenanted.
Savills have predicted house prices in Yorkshire to rise by 21.6% over the next five years, and Castlegate is poised to be at the forefront of this potential Northern surge.
